Admission Criteria

They are the set of regulations and requirements established by Spanish universities for student selection in their different Degrees. Admission criteria vary depending on the University and program, and may involve documentation to be submitted, tests to be taken, deadlines to be met, formulas for calculating cut-off marks, etc.

It is a digital certificate that allows international students to participate in admission processes for bachelor's degree programs at most universities in Spain. Once the students' accreditation request is granted, this certificate is available to universities through the UNEDasiss digital platform. There are universities that do not accept the UNEDasiss accreditation for admission to their institutions or for certain students.
This is the document issued by UNEDasiss when the documentation submitted by the student is not definitive. There are two cases in which this type of accreditation is issued:• For students who require the legalization (homologation) of their high school studies, when such process is still underway.• For students from the educational systems of the United Kingdom, Scotland, or Ireland, when the grades provided are predictive and not definitive.
This is one of the services that students can request to include in their accreditation. It provides a score ranging from a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 10 points, which can be used by universities in their admission proceduresNota de Corte:This is the grade of the last student admitted to a specific degree program. Cut-off grades from previous years serve as a guideline for the score a university might require for admission to a particular program. The final score that determines this grade is established by the destination university according to its admission criteria. It may take into account the grade awarded by UNEDasiss, the PCE exams taken, or recognized subjects, as well as other factors evaluated by the university.

These are the exams organized by UNED that you can also take abroad to apply for undergraduate admission at public Spanish universities. The PCE evaluate the skills and knowledge required of students in their final year of secondary education. The subjects to choose will depend on the destination university and the program of study, as well as the previous studies completed in your country.

excellent academic record" porque en el ámbito anglosajón suena mucho más profesional y atractivo que simplemente decir "good record

Subject recognition allows the destination university to evaluate and award credit for the student's courses during their admission process. This only applies to students from educational systems within the European Union, or those with reciprocity agreements, who have completed secondary studies equivalent to the Spanish Bachillerato. Equivalence reviews will only proceed for subjects that are officially offered as PCE.

It implies the inclusion in the UNEDasiss accreditation that the student has followed a specific field of study in their educational system (for EU students) or has passed certain PCE subjects that configure a high school track in Spain.

It allows international students to certify their language proficiency in order to participate in the admission processes for bachelor's degree programs, and it may be a requirement for admission to some universities in Spain.

Only entities, languages, and levels recognized by the Association of Language Centres in Higher Education in Spain will be accredited..

Obtaining this homologation of your studies to the Spanish baccalaureate is a mandatory requirement for students from outside the EU or from countries that do not have a specific agreement regarding university admission with Spain. It must be requested once the student has completed secondary education. Homologation requirements are established by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.

It must be requested once the student has completed their secondary education. Convalidation requirements are established by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.
